Cobb County police say Maria Isabel Pacheco Agullon tried to report her son's vehicle stolen when she learned he was allegedly involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Marietta. Agullon, 46, was arrested after trying to hide her son's involvement and misleading investigators, police said. She was charged with false report of a crime and obstruction of law enforcement. Jonathan Pacheco Corona, 24, of Marietta was the driver of the 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette in the incident, which occurred about 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Sandtown Road north of Osborne Road, police said. He was charged with first-degree vehicular homicide, felony hit and run and driving without a license.
